As you are probably aware, this year's BBC Children in Need event takes place on Friday, 20th November.Sport and Leisure Services are supporting the appeal by DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT ............
FANCY DRESS DODGEBALL!!!
Fast, Fun and Furious ..........
One of the fastest growing sports in the UK, Dodgeball is the all action team sport taking the country by storm. A multi-skilled, multi-balled sport, Dodgeball has to be seen to be believed. Competitive, addictive but most of all fun, people of all ages are getting hooked and getting involved. This is your chance to join the phenomenon that is DODGEBALL!
Durham County Council Sport and Leisure Services would like you to take part in a fancy dress version in aid of Children in Need at Freeman's Quay Leisure Centre. Prizes to be won for best costume (individual and team - adults), most enthusiastic individual, winners of competition and whatever else we think deserves a prize on the night! Supporting Cheerleaders welcome!
Does't matter if you've never played before, or even seen the film, the rules are really simple and will be explained on the night. You never know you might even get on TV!
